The excessive time, energy and money spent on hair care has long been accepted as just a normal and necessary part of having curly and coily hair. Women and men with very curly hair spend years on a literal journey to discover the best products, tools and processes to maintain and care for their hair. Often, the journey never ends - there is usually a willingness to try new options on the market that could ease the dreaded wash day or beautify the curls more.
Below is a chart that visualizes the multiple hair types people have. This product focuses on addressing the needs of people with types 3B to 4C.
This project included constant collaboration with an external team of experts in hair care within the Black community as well as research experts that aided in creating a product in a culturally conscientious and user-focused manner.

Capitalizing on the expertise of water fixture engineers and consulting with beauty experts, we have designed a new approach to curly hair care.
We offer one solution that can be easily personalized according to one’s hair type, needs and desired outcomes by changing out the middle brush, even mid-shower with slippery fingers.
